To the second and third floors of what was an iconic 1980’s Post-Modern building near the River Thames. A dedicated and controlled environment is necessary for the central broadcast suite. With the advent of digital television, a new dedicated broadcast facility provides state of art facilities in West London. A proprietary glazing system was used to provide full height compartmentalisation to each room. Also, sound attenuation was provided in the form of bespoke acoustic baffles hung from the ceiling. A key design feature is that all services remained exposed. Extensive coordination with the mechanical and electrical infrastructure was necessary. A residential penthouse is nearby.
